Correspondents’ Dinner Shooting & Cole Allen’s Manifesto

Episode 37 · April 29, 2026 · 58 min

Two years left in the term and we're already on assassination attempt number three. XO breaks down the gunfire at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, the conspiracy theories that followed, and the manifesto from the man charged, Cole Allen, which came complete with rebuttals to objections, like a thesis, and a sign-off telling everyone to stay in school.

About this episode

Gunfire broke out at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, sending the president, the vice president, and 2,600 guests diving for cover, and Cole Allen has been charged with attempted assassination. XO covers what happened, the conspiracy theories that started right away, and a reporter's awkward interview reading the gunman's words back to Trump.

Then XO reads through the manifesto itself, which is laid out like a college thesis, complete with rebuttals to objections, a self-given nickname, and a sign-off telling everyone to stay in school. XO is clear that political violence isn't the answer, and asks how someone could get that close in the first place.

00All right. So, Donald Trump still has two years left of his presidency and he is already at assassination attempt number three. This is getting crazy. It's getting a little bit civil war. It's getting a little bit too civil war for me. Just a little bit too violent for my taste. I'm not I'm not sure about you, but for me, things are getting a little bit uncomfortable. And you've probably already heard at this point, you probably already heard that somebody tried to kill Trump along with other people already because you know why not? Why not go ahead and take matters into your own hand? It works out so well. There's no way, even if you're successful, that there's somebody there to replace them. There's no way that the things and the powers that be that run this country go deeper than just the figureheads at the top. There's no way. That's uh that's that's crazy talk. At approximately 8:34 p.m., the annual White House Correspondent Center was interrupted by security breach and gunfire that sent 2600 guests, including the president, the vice president, and the cabinet diving for cover.

05The man at the center of the incident is 31-year-old Cole Thomas Allen, a Caltech educated mechanical engineer and video game developer from Torrance, California. Allan, who also worked as a part-time tutor and was once named teacher of the month, reportedly traveled by train to DC and checked into the Hilton as a guest. And honestly, I I wonder I wonder sometimes. I wonder why we still have trains. I wonder what still happens on trains. Like, there's no way I I literally was just having this conversation. There's no way that that things should still be done by train. It just feels like the most like the most time consuming way to to actually travel to actually move things. Maybe I'm maybe I'm just naive. Maybe I just I'm not aware of all of the benefits that a train can bring. And apparently one of the benefits is, you know, you're able to just bring a whole bunch of weapons from from one state to another.

07It's it's no big deal. It's no big deal. That's what trains are for. And just in case you were wondering, now we both have answers. That's what trains are for. And this guy was a teacher. So if you were wondering what type of people are educating our future, our future generations that will one day lead this country, it's it's guys like this. It's guys like Mr. Cole Allen, teacher of the month. He's not just skating by people. He's he's adored. He's adored. How many different ideologies was he pushing? Because this isn't a man that just, you know, out of nowhere picks up everything, gets on a train, and says, "I'm going to go shoot the president." This is probably something that's been a long time coming. It's been a long time buildup. You know, it was just one thing at a time that finally sent this man over the edge. I can assume I can only assume if he was once named teacher of the month, I can only assume that he was at one point a decent guy.

06A decent guy that maybe had some crazy ideas, some crazy beliefs, and some people might have even believed him. They might have even agreed with him, been on the same side, on the same team. And this this only made things worse. This only made him stronger. This only fueled his anger. This guy uh he checked into the Hilton because, you know, that's that's where that's where happens now. you you have a correspondence dinner. The first place you go to is the Hilton. That's uh that's what you do. There's no official building or ballroom that can be used for this. You got to go to the Hilton. He was armed with a shotgun and a handgun and multiple knives when he charged past a security checkpoint near the subterranean ballroom. This is why you get on a train. This is why that's a lot. That's a lot to carry. You don't you don't want to just be driving.

01You could get pulled over. On a train, you can have all of this. You can just have a whole bunch of luggage. You can have a whole bunch of inside. There's no metal detector. Who Who's robbing a train? What's on a train? It's the perfect plan. He had the perfect plan. And minutes before the attack, Allan sent a 1,000word manifesto to his family and former employer. And we're going to read that. I I I got the full manifesto. And it is batshit insane. It's about as crazy as you would expect a guy that gets on a train to go kill the president would would be. It that's that's about as crazy as you would expect the manifesto to be. He did not he didn't fail to live up to the expectations that I had. I uh I I I couldn't just It wasn't one of those things that I could just paraphrase. I I'm going to have to read the entire thing. But and before that branding himself as the friendly federal assassin and no I I didn't have anything.

01I just I wanted to take a second for that. The friendly federal assassin. I just I just wanted that to breathe for a second. In in the document he outlined a plan to target administration officials prior prioritized by rank. though he explicitly mentioned he did not intend to harm FBI Director Cash Patel. I obviously I'm happy that nobody got hurt. I I'm happy that that this plan would not have worked either way. But just out that curiosity, why not? Why why does he get a pass? Why? Why does Mr. Cash Patel get a pass? Why was he not on the list? And I And I get it.

58Nobody Nobody should actually I'm not I'm not condoning or endorsing anything happening to any of these people. There are ways to hopefully get these these these people out of office. There are ways to change the the people in charge without going to these measures. Surely, surely you can only you can only hope. But just a a hypothetical, just a you know, let's let's just why not why not talk about it? It didn't happen. It didn't work. His plan failed. So why not just throw the question out there? Why why give Cash Patell a pass? Why wasn't Why wasn't he on the list? I I just I guess I'm confused. But that's that's to be expected. Like I said, if you if you have read the manifesto, if you've even heard bits and pieces of it, I guess not all of it because some of it there was some truth to it.

58And unfortunately, that's what gives a lot of steam to the crazy people is they have a little bit of truth and they feel vindicated because, wow, see, I'm I'm right. So, I must be right about everything. And I guess that's that's what's wrong with crazy people. They they can't they can't see the difference between being right about one thing and, you know, not being right about everything. You uh they don't they don't go hand in hand. But yeah, his his writings express deep antitrust or anti-Trump sentiment and criticize the administration's actions through a a religious lens, accusing leadership of failing to meet standards of Christian behavior. I uh I just I guess again I'm just I'm I'm wondering why I'm wondering I'm wondering why why why why give Castell a pass? Why give him a pass? Talking about the standards of Christian behavior.

54I think I think if you if you lie straight to the faces the eyes and ears of all the Americans who listen that there was nothing to be seen with one of the most disgusting acts of terror against children. Who knows how deep it goes? Who knows how embedded into our government and other governments this this organization actually is was who knows if it's past tense or present who knows I just I can't see that being too Christian if you're just like hey there was nothing there's nothing to see look at me there's nothing to see trust me but for some reason you know that's uh I guess he gets a pass so so crazy people they just they don't know they don't know they think because they're right about one thing.

51They're right about everything. So, of course, there's going to be some things that this lunatic does that I just don't understand. The physical encounter, excuse me, was brief but violent. Allan managed to fire at least one shot before being tackled by a Secret Service agents. One officer was struck in his bullet resistant vest, which likely saved his life. It's uh it's crazy. If you've seen if you've seen the footage of this of this guy running past, it's crazy to even think that you get off of a train with all of all of these these weapons. You got a shotgun, a handgun, and multiple knives. You you make it into the Hilton. You check in as a guest. You go down where where the damn president, the vice president, and all these other people that are, I don't know, possibly at the top of some people's list that are crazy to be assassinated.

51Possibly. Maybe you would think that the security would be, I don't know, a little bit tighter, a little bit more on guard. So, it is kind of weird that he just he runs by and he gets a shot off and he even shoots a guy right right point blank in his chest. Thank god he had a vest. I don't know. Some people some people are already jumping to conspiracies. They're saying there's no way that this was an actual attack. This has all been orchestrated. You know, this this these are the type of the things that happened with the whole Butler shooting when uh when Trump got clipped in the air. And people would argue and say, "Hey, well, you you obviously know nothing about guns. You you can't really you can't really plan for something being that precise without, I guess, being okay with taking the risk of blowing the guy's brains out." I I could see why somebody would be reluctant to believe that, but with this one, nobody really got hurt.

55Even the guy didn't really get hurt. the one the one secret service agent that got shot. It was right in this bullet resistant vest. I guess some people are already leading to conspiracies and I'm not saying that I am believing any of them. I'm not saying that I am trying to advocate for any of them. And honestly, the only reason why I'm bringing it up is because you have to at least understand why they're there. You have to at least understand why people are drawing these crazy conclusions. You got Trump going straight to talking about a ballroom and you know this is this is exactly why we should have the ballroom. We'd have bullet resistant windows or whatever this guy was talking about saying this is exactly why we should get back to the construction of my ballroom by the White House. This wouldn't have happened there. It wouldn't have happened there. You know, this this is the type of the type of thing that you would expect when you check in at a Hilton.

51I don't know. I don't know what you thought would happen. This is a Hilton. You're going to have lunatics that that rush in like that. This is why we go to the ballroom. So, people are already saying, "Hey, this seems this seems stage. This seems a little bit fabricated." And now you go straight to talking about a ballroom. You go straight to saying, "Hey, what's in it for for me?" Of course, people are going to say, "Hey, this is uh this is the smoking gun. This is exactly why I always I always knew Butler was always a hoax. And this this one is too. This proves it all. Shut the up. Shut up. Shut up. You don't know. You don't know. You don't know. None of us know. That's why That's why they're all all these conspiracies are happening. We don't know. The the Black Pillars and the conspiracy theorists, they need to stop. Well, shut the up. What did you What did you expect? What did you expect when none of us know?

47None of us can know. You can tell us the truth and we just won't know. We won't know. Because even the truth sounds like lies on your lips. Ain't that crazy? Ain't that crazy? But maybe that was the point. Maybe we weren't supposed to trust anything. That way all of this can happen and everybody is just so beaten down, so just taken over with distrust that they're just like, "You know what? Whatever. I guess this is happening. It might be happening. It might not be. Whatever. Was this a hoax? I don't know. Was he just trying to get a ballroom? I don't know." I guess the first thing that I could think of though when people were like, "Hey, this was all just for him to get his ballroom up and running again and, you know, finish the construction for that." The first thing I thought of was Charlie Kirk's assassination. And I think I think that was even the reason why Kimmel got cancelled for a short little bit is because the first thing Trump said was talking about the ballroom.

50I think maybe the man just that's how he he grieavves. That's how he copes with the things that are going on. You know, we all we all do it in different ways. Accept it. accept it. It's okay. You cry. You cry a lot. You eat some ice cream. Some people, they they just they're silent. They don't they don't like to talk. Some people, that's all they want to do. They want to go to therapy. They want to go to group therapy. They want you to come with them. They want you to go to a meeting. They want you to introduce yourself. They want you to tell your story. Some people, this is what they need. Some people, they they think about construction. They think about ballrooms. It's okay. Accept it. Maybe that's what this was. A whole bunch of shit's going on. And Trump's like, "Hey, I'm going to compartmentalize this and I'm going to move forward. I got a couple wars. I got to push a few meetings in the ballroom.

53I think it would be a nice addition. It wouldn't have happened there. We would have had a nice dinner. It would have been the nicest ever been. I think maybe I think maybe that's just the way he copes. Maybe not. Maybe it is. Maybe it's all a hoax, right? Maybe this was all orchestrated. Maybe everybody's in on it. That sounds a little bit farfetched for me. But maybe I don't know. This is It's getting a little bit wild. It's getting wild how we we really can't we really can't tell what the truth is. And it's more than just deep fakes with pictures and videos and like that. It's actual reality. Actual reality. And I guess it's always it's always been a thing. You know, propaganda has always been a thing. The way that news has been told is the way that it has been allowed to be told by the people at the top. So, you know what I mean?

50It's the only thing that people have ever heard from all time is is basically what's been allowed to be told. And if you try to go outside of those lines and color outside of those lines, you either get slandered back then, you probably would have got killed, you know what I mean? You you there was no tolerance for that type of Um, so so yeah, one officer was struck with his bullet resistant vest. Maybe maybe it was just luck. Allan himself sustained a knee injury during the struggle, but was not hit by gunfire. I I think that's crazy. Am I I might be wrong. And I know there was other gunshots, so I don't know how many was from from Cole Allen. I don't know how many was from the Secret Service, but you would think that they would have at least shot this man. Again, I'm not saying like obviously they were able to take care of everything without needing to escalate things to to gunshots, but they wouldn't really be escalating if somebody's already been shot.

55You know what I mean? That's you you shot an officer, a Secret Service agent, right in the chest. You know what I mean? Point blank in the chest. You don't think that the man would be shot? I don't I don't know. I just have questions. I have questions. And these these these are the questions. These are the things that people are like, "Hey, you should move on." Well, I don't even know why you you're even asking questions. The fact that you're asking questions, you're you're you're putting seeds of doubt in people's heads and you need to stop. It needs it needs to stop. That's not what happened. We need a ballroom. We need to move on. You need to stop. And and to that, I say no. I I will not. A knee injury. That's that's all you get. You got a knee injury. And maybe that is a good thing, right? It's definitely a good thing. Obviously, not saying this man should be shot or anything like that. Um, but I'm just saying.

52I'm just saying like I would assume I would assume like if somebody is like, "Hey, this guy runs in where the president, the vice president, and all these important people are, and you know, he's got guns and he starts shooting people. He shoots a Secret Service agent right in the chest. Luckily, he has a vest. Nobody knows. There's a whole bunch of agents. What do you think happens to him? Well, the guy's probably going to go down with a knee injury would never be my answer. That's all I'm saying. That's all I'm saying. You would think that a knee injury wouldn't even be mentioned because it's like, oh, well, you know, we we clipped him a couple times. Luckily, he isn't he isn't dead, so he will still have to answer for his crimes. I don't know. I don't know. Maybe, maybe. But maybe this is a good thing only because with the whole Butler assassination attempt, we we just never got answers. And we kind of we kind of just moved on. You know, there's people that still bring it up, but nobody really talks about it. Not even Trump.

47You know, nobody really questions it. Not even Trump. It makes you It makes you It makes you question it. It makes me question it. At least I'm projecting. I'm questioning it. Okay. I'm wondering what's what's going on. You say you love me. You say that you was mad. You said words you even apologize. Apologize. Too many times before. You say you want us and you love me. You was words you didn't mean. Don't even I've seen this too many times. Too many Back when we met, life was so simple. got too many issues.

44I'm done saying I'm sorry. You said last time was the last time you lied. Yeah, you lied again. Of course, again. How could I be so naive? You play me like a violin. Now I'm feeling stupid to try again. You got me addicted. Guess I'll

13In the chaos, President Trump was rushed off stage, reportedly stumbling during the evacuation while high-profile journalists and celebrities sheltered under tables. Federal prosecutors have since charged Allen with the attempted assassination of the president along with counts of transporting firearms with intent to commit a felony and assault on a federal officer. And this this is crazy cuz again this is why I I thought we had trains for I thought the whole point of a train was that you were able to transport firearms with an intent to commit a felony and assault on a federal officer. I thought that'd be okay. I guess I guess not. You know, Cole Allen had to learn the hard way. You can't just do that. You can't just check into a Hilton and try to rush through and and shoot some people like that. You're going to get got you're going to get a knee injury. you're gonna go down with a knee injury and you're gonna get charged. And shortly after all of this happened, Trump went on 60 Minutes and he had an interview. And it was interesting to say the least.

12He he acted a little bit weird. Odd I guess are the first two words that come to my mind. You know, he acted a little bit suspicious. He acted a little bit. There's like a saying where it's like, you know, a hit dog's gonna holler. It's it's a little bit crazy. So, the just just to set it up, the the lady doing the interview, she starts reading off uh a couple of the lines on the manifesto and one of them was about, you know, some of the the child sex trafficking like that, the things that people are kind of getting upset about, you know, the whole Epstein thing. You might have heard of that. She starts to talk a little bit about the manifesto from this guy that just came to the Hilton and tried to shoot everybody. And as soon as she starts to talk about it, he gets a little bit suspicious. He gets a little bit weird. He gets odd. Like I said, a hit dog is going to holler.

08It's it's one of those old sayings that you think of because he immediately starts to take it personally. He was never even actually named. And we're going to go through the manifesto. He wasn't actually named personally on this part, but he he sure did take it personally. So, Donald Trump, everybody, The so-called manifesto is a stunning thing to read, Mr. President. Stunning.

33He appears to reference a motive. In it, he writes this quote, "Aministration officials, they are targets." And he also wrote this, "I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his clothes."

48What's your reaction to Well, I was waiting for you to read that because I knew you would because you're you're horrible people. Horrible people. Yeah, he did write that. Uh, I'm I'm not a rapist. I didn't rape anybody. Uh, Oh, you think he was referring to you? Excuse me. Hold on.

05I'm not a pedophile. I read that crap from some sick person.

09Uh, I can't I can't even believe that you would even call me a rapist. I'm not a pedophile. Whoa. Sir. Sir, I was I was just telling you what was in the manifesto. I even started it off by saying that this was I forget the exact word she said, but just like it was it was chilling to read. It was crazy to read. Like I said, you could tell the man is a lunatic. He he sent it to his own family before he went and did this The man was off his rocker. He was off his rocker. She she started it off by saying that this was crazy to even read. Like if you if you read this manifesto, this this man is a lunatic. And immediately as she starts talking about this, he gets defensive. He starts thinking that this is about him. Maybe that's just, you know, it's it's Trump. It's Trump. What do you think? Everything's about him. Look at Look at life through his eyes.

04Everything is about him. I know exactly what you're talking. I I was waiting for it. And you gotta you gotta think that he probably was waiting for it just to play devil's advocate. I think he he probably did. He he was maybe prepped on it. I don't think he read it himself. He's probably like bullet pointed on the things that he should probably know. Hey, by the way, they ended up putting this in. She's probably end going to end up saying something about it, you know? So just try to swerve a little bit whenever she talks about that. Just count her and you know we could talk about something else. You weren't named personally. That's the good part. So just try not to get too defensive. And um yeah, it didn't it didn't work out too well. I guess

53I got associated with all stuff that has nothing to do with me. I was totally exonerated. Your friends on the other side of the plate are the ones that were involved with.

06Sir, sir, sir, I got to stop you there. Remember the notes. Remember the Remember the notes. Stay to the talking points. I even I told you what to say when she brings it up. I told you what to say. I told you not to acknowledge it. Not to take it personally. What are you doing, sir? You're talking about being exonerated. That doesn't make sense. That doesn't make sense. That's That's literally not true. You weren't exonerated for anything. We we we haven't seen anything that actually links you to any crimes per se, but you weren't you weren't exonerated. The fact that we're even talking about this right now, you're not taking my notes. Sir, sir, Mr. President, Donald, Donnie, Don, stop. Stop. It's okay. She's just This is her job. She has to do it. She has to do it. Let her get through it. Let's say Epstein or other things.

56Donnie. Donnie, I told you the what what was what was bullet point two? What was bullet point two? Donnie, Mr. President, I told you not to say anything about Epstein. He didn't even mention You're bringing up names that don't matter. Nobody mentioned your name. Nobody mentioned Epstein. We we we we don't need you to dig the hole any deeper. We don't need this. You're making my job hard. You're making my job hard. And lucky for you, you know, you're you hired the best. You hired the best. And you wouldn't think so, but I've worked with a hell of a lot worse, sir. So, we can do this. Just no more Epstein talk. Stop taking things personally and do not attack this woman. You have to act like you're on her side. You know, the bad guy is the one that came in trying to shoot people. That's That's it. All right, Mr. President. We could we could do this.

53It's just 60 minutes. with the commercials, it's like 40. It's okay. We're good. We can do this.

00But I said to myself, you know, I'll do this interview and they'll probably I read the manifesto. You know, was a sick person, but you should be yourself reading that because

11I'm not any of those things. Mr. President, I was never Excuse me. Excuse me. You shouldn't be reading that on 60 Minutes. You're a disgrace,

20Mr. President. You can't You can't call her a disgrace. Mr. president. Mr. President, she said, "I'm just reading what the gunman said. I I this these aren't my words. You You got to understand, I'm not even a person right now. Anything you say, you're about to call me a disgrace. I won't have a reaction. I'm not a person right now. I am the people. I'm the people. We have questions. I'm the people. Don't Don't look at me as a person. Don't say I'm a disgrace because I am the people right now. I'm all of us. We have questions. We're saying that this guy is a sick lunatic. Listen to what he's saying. All you had to do, Mr. President, Mr. President, don't say don't say anything about, you know, this was an attack, fake news. Don't say any of that. Don't say anything about Epstein. Don't Don't mention that. Don't mention it. All you have to do is agree that this man is a lunatic and say this is exactly why we need a ballroom.

19This is exactly why we need to stop doing these type of dinners at the Hilton. This is this these are your talking points. This is all you had to do.

29Finish the interview. The other thing that he wrote in the other thing in the manifesto that I think is worth looking at.

42Yo, bro, say what you want, bro. Say what you want. This funny, man. Just sitting here choking on my spit and Mr. President. Mr. President. No personal attacks. You can't take this personal. You can't take this personal and you can't make personal attacks. Okay. Talk about the ballroom. Talk about the ballroom. Please, Mr. President. You're making my job so hard. I feel I feel bad for this lady cuz she she can't be a person right now. Like I said, she is the people. She's I'm just I'm just trying to These are the words of the gunman. You could just tell everything like her her Botox is up. Like she's starting to show the expressions all over her face. She's going to need another round. You're You're her up because she was she was trying to be calm.

40She was trying to be professional. She she tried and she did good. She did good. But Mr. President, you're disgraceful. But we could continue the interview. Come on, keep going. And she continues because she's not a person. I'm not taking it personally. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna even I tried to tell you. I'm just saying saying saying what the gun man said. You just told me excuse you. So I'm going to move on. We're going to move on from this. And hopefully we'll be okay. But when she moves on, I think it it triggered her more. Oh, you and you did. You just moved on. We could just continue the interview. Oh, and you just continue it. Of course. Like I He's funny. You're disgraceful. I think what one more time please for the president

25Not any of those things I was never excuse me the comments worse

30You shouldn't be reading that on 60 minutes you're a disgrace but go ahead let's finish the interview the other thing that he wrote in disgraceful The other thing in that I think is worth

43He didn't think so like you really you're you're not even going to acknowledge fake news man fake news but I'll continue the interview I need to I need to get this ballroom. This is This is an insane time. Um, three assassination attempts and he still has two years to go. I I don't know, man. People are getting people are getting radicalized. Like I said, it's getting a little bit too civil war for me. It's a little bit too violent for my taste. It's too much. It's too much. this guy's this guy's off of his rocker. Obviously, there it's a it's a statistics type of thing. It's a percentage type of thing. You know, you got you got the average people, you got the high performers, you got the people that are low performers, and there's a small percentage that are crazy. It's it's something that we've just we've had to accept.

42You know, obviously there's a whole bunch of people locked up for some dumbass that really doesn't hurt anybody, but there are some people that are locked up just cuz they're crazy. We have realized that, hey, you know what? Some people just they can't they can't be among us. They're a little bit too nuts. They do too crazy of things. And yeah, so I got speakings of nuts, speaks of crazy, I got the full manifesto from this guy. So, I'm just I I couldn't imagine being his family member, you know, you're you're chilling. You you're ready for a nice weekend. You're ready to to kick back. You know, you don't you don't want to think about any issues or problems. You know, not even your own. You know, you might might be drinking some beer, smoking some weed, doing something. You're doing something to take the edge off of life.

40And ding, you get a little bit of dopamine rush because nobody ever hits you up. Nobody. Who could it be? Who could be ringing a ding ding dinging at my phone? Who could it be? It's an email. Huh? Wow. It's uh it's Cole. It's Cole. Great. What does he want? What does Cole want? Hello everybody. God, it's a group message. It's not even to me. It's not even to me. Everybody, you couldn't even take the time to just send a direct message to me. Whatever. Whatever. What What the does Cole want now? So, I may have given a lot of people a surprise today. Let me start off by apologizing to everyone whose trust I abuse. Why is he Is he finally going to off himself or I apologize to my parents for saying I had an interview without specifying it was for most wanted.

40The I apologize to my colleagues and students for saying I had a personal emergency. By the time anyone reads this, I probably most certainly do need to go to the ER, but can hardly call that not a self-inflicted status. What What is wrong? What's wrong with Cole? I hope I hope he doesn't have a knee injury. I apologize to all of the people I travel next to, all of the workers who handled my luggage, and all of the other non-targeted people at the hotel who I put in danger simply by being near Cole. What's What's happening? I apologize to everyone who was abused and/or murdered before this. to all of those who suffered before I was able to attempt this. To all who may still suffer after, regardless of my success or failure. Is he Is he like It sounds like he's either writing a suicide note or he's also saying that he's killed people.

39So, I I'm I Cole, I don't expect forgiveness. He definitely killed some people, but if I could have seen any other way to get this close. God damn it. Was he was he was he having sex with with like corpses like on some Eddie Gene type I would have taken it. Again, my sincere apologies. I don't think I could read this. I don't think I could read this. I thought I was just getting a message. I thought I was just getting a message. What has Cole done on to why I did any of this? What is this? What is this? What did you do? I am a citizen of the United States of America. Okay. What my representatives do reflects on me. Okay. And I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes. Oh.

39Oh. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. Cole, what did you do? What did you do? What did you do? Oh, God. I know he hates him, but I did. Well, to be completely honest, I was no longer willing a long time ago, but this is the first real opportunity I've had to do something about it. While I'm discussing this, I'll also go over my expected rules of engagement, probably in a terrible format, but I'm not military, so too bad. Can we just actually can we take a second? I uh I get he was teacher of the the month or whatever, but the fact that he made this for real like a a dissertation, like this was for real like a paper that he was later going to have to grade and he wanted to make sure that it was, you know, in the right format. I What did you do, Cole? What did you do? Probably in a terrible format, but I'm not military, so too bad. Okay. I would still go through most everyone here to get to the targets if it were absolutely necessary on the basis that most people chose to attend a speech by a pedophile, rapist, and traitor and are thus complicit.

48But I really hope it doesn't come to that. I Cole, earlier you said, "I apologize to uh to all the non-targeted people at the hotel who you put in danger." Is this it it feels like a contradiction? Maybe because now you're saying that anybody that was there was also complicit because you uh you attended a speech by a pedophile, rapist, and traitor. And um I hope it doesn't come to that. I hope it doesn't. This guy is a nut. This guy is a lunatic, bro. This guy is off of his rocker. These poor people that read this that these poor people that got this email. Like, could you imagine? It's like one of those uh like you know you you know like in uh TV shows or movies like where like a character comes out as gay and it's like the parent or the the siblings.

45It's like oh honey we we always knew. It's like that's that's this guy except as like a domestic terrorist. Like oh honey we we knew this this was coming. We knew this day was coming. We're we're honestly surprised you made it 31 years. Who had 31 years? We We had a bet. We had a bet going. A family a family bet that you would end up going off your rocker. I thought it would be like 24. That's what I thought. My bad. I couldn't imagine being the people that actually got this email. Which is like, bro, what the are you talking about? Because he's like so vague. He's so vague about this And then as he continues, the more it's just like, oh god. And then I'm assuming you you probably know about this person. So he's probably like talked about like, oh, you know, Trump and these fascists and like, you know, he's talked about he's probably talked about his ideas and his beliefs and all of that good So, I could see like the panic setting in even more.

44The more that you know this person, the more that you realize like who their beef is with, you know what I mean? Like I I don't know. My heart will be would be pounding. I'll be like, "Bro, this is this is crazy. I really hope it doesn't come to that. And when I said he treated this thing like a dissertation, like some sort of like college thesis or some like that, bro, this this the next section put rebuttals to objections. So, I don't I don't have to object. He actually already he thought of all of them. So, objection one, as a Christian, you should turn the other cheek. I'm not going to lie. That's uh that's what you hear. That's what you hear. You should turn the other cheek. That's what you hear. Rebuttal. He's got something. Turning the other cheek is for when you yourself are oppressed. I'm not the person raped in a detention camp. I'm not the fisherman executed without trial.

40I'm not a school kid blown up or a child starved or a teenage girl abused by the many criminals in this administration. Okay. I don't I guess I don't know enough about Christian values. Is turn the other cheek like only for your yourself explicitly? I don't know. Maybe because then like wouldn't you also say everybody else should turn the other cheek? So like the the fisherman before he got executed could have just turned the other cheek like this. That's, you know, it's kind of like personal accountability. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not I'm not the most religious person as you can tell. So, I'm not sure. Turning the other cheek when someone else is oppressed is not Christian behavior. It is complicity in the oppressor's crimes. But it does say like thou shalt not kill or something like that.

36Like you're not supposed to like murder. Right. Right. Follow the latest on the shooting at the White House correspondent dinner. the security loopholes that allowed Cole Allen to get near White House correspondent dinner as Trump says this proves need for his ballroom. Objection two. This is not a convenient time for you to do this rebuttal. I need whoever thinks this way to take a couple minutes and realize that the world isn't about them. Do you think that when I see someone raped or murdered or abused, I should walk on by because it would be inconvenient for people who aren't the victim? This was the best timing and chance of success I could come up with. I just need you to sit with that for a minute. Okay, this isn't a convenient time for me to do this. When is a good time? When should I do it? When should I pop this When should I do it? When is a good time? You tell me. When should I do it?

33When is a good time? I think that if you just expect me to sit by and watch these atrocities, I think you're a part of the problem. You might be complicit. You might be a part of the problem. And I hope you're at the dinner. I hope you're at the dinner. And I hope the non-targeted individuals that might be collateral damage don't actually get damaged because I'm sorry. But if you know something happens, it's your fault because you might be complicit. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Do you think that when I see someone raped or murdered or abused, I should walk on by because it would be inconvenient? I I don't. I don't. I don't. I just I guess I guess I'm wondering like is he seeing videos? I I don't I'm not looking for these things like you know what I mean? Like so it's just like maybe I I hear like you can see like crazy stories of like like real life I don't know what's deep fakes. I don't know what is real.

29I don't know what's from a video game. I personally even if like I know it's out there. I don't want to see it. You know what I'm saying? like like especially like some of the the more more grotesque like like that happens to kids. Like I don't want to see that So I'm just like I guess I'm picturing is Cole just sitting around and he's literally watching videos. Are there videos out there of people getting raped and murdered and abused and like he's saying specifically by this administration? I feel like if these videos were out there, it would be like it would be out there. Like, hey, bro, we got we got Trump on some We got them right on video. We got people in his administration. I think I don't I don't know. I I I I genuinely I don't know. But if this if this person really believe that, let's say whether he's watching these or not, let's say he's just assuming maybe he's he's visualizing this He knows it's happening in the world, so he's actually just like visualizing this It's actually like he's seeing it in his mind.

32I don't know. I'm trying to get in the head of this nut job. Maybe then like that would be a reason to feel radicalized. You're just constantly seeing innocent people getting hurt. I don't know. It feels again a little bit hypocritical by saying like, "Hey, I don't want it to happen, but some people that aren't my targets, they might get they might get hit." And then for you to say Cash Patel is not on the list. I think I don't know. I don't know. It feels like, you know what I mean? You're you're sitting here talking about people being like pedophiles and like that. I feel like why would you I don't know. I feel like I've already asked that question. So asking it anymore might just it might it might come across the wrong way at this point. So let me let me stop. I um he said this was the best timing and chance of success he could come up with. Objection three. You didn't get them all. You ain't get them all, bro. What What you got to say to that rebuttal?

31Got to start somewhere. Oh This was on one. He was He was He was a little bit off of his rocker, bro. He's got We got to start somewhere. I I just I could see cuz, you know, he thought about this You know, every single word that is in this manifesto, he done wrote, rewrote a couple times on some of the lines. He read it, read it a couple more times after, and he's like, "This is it." And he knew. He knew. Somebody be like, "Bro, this what did you stop? What did you stop? This is like one of those those monsters like I think it's called like a hydra or something where you cut off one head and two grow back like what did you what what was this going to do? What was this going to actually stop? You didn't get them all. I got to start somewhere. You know it's one step at a time. You you build a house one brick at a time. What did you think? You know Rome Rome wasn't built and it didn't fall in a day.

31It happens over time. What did you think? You got to start somewhere. Objection four. And as a black as a half black, half white person, you shouldn't be the one doing this. Rebuttal. I don't see anyone else picking up the slack. I I reject this entire entire thing. As somebody who is half black and half white, you. you, Cole. you. How dare you, bro? How dare you bismerch us? I didn't know. I didn't want to know. I didn't know what I didn't know if you was like Hispanic. I didn't know if you was like Muslim. I didn't know what you was, bro. I didn't know what you was. I didn't care. You was crazy. That's what I saw. I didn't I didn't I didn't care. I didn't think about it. The fact that you put it in your manifesto as a half black, half white person. you. You making us You making us look bad, bro. you making us. We lost some cool points on that one.

29We lost We lost some cool points. I hate to say that your white side is showing, but this We don't We don't do this. I didn't think you You up the way that I view the entire world. What did you do? What did you do? You shouldn't be the one doing this. Is that what he's talking about? as a half black, half white person, you shouldn't be the one doing this. Come on, bro. Think about school shooters. Think about every assassin that's like a woman saying like, "Hey, I'm gonna go assassin somebody." Come on. Come on. We know who are the common archetypes that that you know, do this type of You shouldn't be the one doing this. Rebuttal. I don't see anyone else picking up the slack. This is attempt number three. Who's going to finish it? Who's going to finish it? I will at the Hilton.

25That's where I will finish it. I can't I I can't believe this actually put that in there. I can't believe that he actually did that. What does that have to do with anything? What does it have to do with anything? What What does that have to do with anything? As a half black, half white person, you shouldn't be the one doing this. I I've never felt like you were crazier than when I read objection number four. Blew my mind. It blew my mind. you, Cole. you. Objection five. Yield unto Caesar. What is Caesars's? I'm telling you, this is like some dissertation. This was ready. You could tell he graded papers. Rebuttal. The United States of America are ruled by the law, not by anyone or several people.

22In so far as representatives and judges do not follow the law, no one is required to yield them anything so unlawfully ordered. I had to I had to read it like that cuz that's how I felt like it was like on some uh like honestly like JFK. Like that was the first president I could think of where it's like his type of accent reading that I would also like to I can't do a JFK. I would also like to extend my appreciation to a great many people since I would not be likely to be able to talk with them again unless the Secret Service is astoundingly incompetent. There's there's no there's no way. So, okay. the fact that he ended up just getting a knee injury. I'm just I'm just saying like it feels a little bit weird, odd. I don't know. Like he's really trolling them on this and then he actually like, you know what I mean, just gets taken down and the person who gets the most injured is the Secret Service agent.

26They literally don't even clip this guy. Like they don't do They just they just bust his knee up a little bit and what was it in the fall? I don't I don't know. Thank you to my family, both personal and church, for your love over these 31 years. Thank you to my friends for your companionship over many years. Thank you to my colleagues over many jobs, for your positivity and professionalism. Thank you to my students for your enthusiasm and love of learning. I like I like how he's like he's he's actually like ending this as if he's like at some graduation or some Like he's he's doing a speech and he's I'd like to thank you know what I mean? Thank you to my many acquaintances I've met in person and online for short interactions and long-term relationships, for your perspectives and inspiration. He's um he he's he's off his rocker, man. This guy is crazy. Thank you all for everything. Sincerely, cold cold force friendly federal assassin Allen. No, I I needed that to breathe again for a second.

30Cold Cold Force Friendly Federal Assassin Allen. This gave himself like a WWE name or some Like he's like some sort of MMA fighter or something. I just I can't believe he really he really felt like he was like in in Call of Duty or some He really felt PS. Okay, now that all of the sappy stuff is done, what the hell is the Secret Service doing? Sorry, gonna rant a bit here and drop the formal tone. Okay, so the dissertation's over. We're about to see the real Cole. We're about to see the real Cole. He's got some to say about the Secret Service. Like I expected, security cameras at every bin. Oh, I'm sorry. This is why commas matter. Like, I expected security cameras at every bin. Bugged hotel rooms, armed agents every 10 ft, metal detectors out the wazoo. What I got, who knows? Maybe they're pranking me is nothing.

26No damn security. Not in transport. Not in the hotel. Not in the event. Like, why does he keep he keeps starting with like I think it's because I think it said he was from California. So, it's more like like or I can't do a Cal. I I guess I can't do accents like that. Like like the one thing, dude. I can't do I don't know how them talk. them surfboard You know what I'm talking about. Like the one thing that I immediately notice walking into the hotel is the sense of arrogance. I walk in with multiple weapons and not a single person there considers the possibility that I could be a threat. Damn. I ain't going to lie, bro. Just being white and doing that, whatever, bro. Okay. Being half black and doing that, I'm I'm not going to lie, bro. That's That's kind of impressive.

22I don't know if it's impressive or, you know, it really does say a lot about the Secret Service because I I don't know. I don't know. How do you How do you even do that? I don't know how I would do that. Maybe it's my tattoos. Maybe that's what it is. Maybe it's because I I'm not a teacher. I don't have the teacher mustache. I Maybe that's what it is. I don't I don't have the look. I don't have the non-threatening look. But he said he just walked in with multiple weapons. So, I'm trying to think like, is the shotgun on your shoulder? Is it just in a bag? And maybe he's saying, "Yeah, I had I had it in my bag. Obviously, I didn't just walk in with it. I checked into the Hilton. The Hilton said it's cool and yeah, nobody checked me. Nobody checked my bag at all." Did you ever stop to think that maybe, you know, maybe I got some weapons in here. Maybe there is a possibility that I could be a threat. So, I guess now he's upset that he wasn't perceived as a threat.

17He thought that, you know, being a cold cold force friendly federal assassin Allen was was getting around. He thought that the friendly federal assassin was actually making a name for himself, that he was actually getting the recognition he always felt like he deserved, that he always wanted. He always wanted to be the friendly federal assassin. I don't just I don't just assassinate feds. I'm friendly. I'm nice while I do it. I'm kind. Okay. I say hello. Why do you think I started this out? Hello everybody. That's everybody. Why do you think I said thank you and sorry? I'm friendly. That's my whole thing. That's my stick. Okay. That's my thing. I assassinate feds and then I say thank you on the way out. I hold the door open for anybody and you know it it's it gets me places. So he felt he felt like at this point he was getting the recognition that he finally deserved.

17You know, when he when he walked into the Hilton, he half expected that he might even get tackled. It's Cole Cold face, the friendly federal assassin. Get him. We maybe were we were going to see a rise of a infamous federal assassin that was also maybe kind of friendly. maybe we would have seen that rise and you know it got stripped from him. It got stripped from him. He uh he didn't get the chance to make the mark on the world like he thought he didn't get the chance.

57And I shut out the world right now. I mind. Disconnect. Inhale. Exhale like it's medicine. ends. I keep trying to run away from demons trying to outrun me. I disconnect me. So let's just slow it down. I've when I panic. The security at the event is all outside focused on protesters and current arrivals because apparently no one thought about what happens if someone checks in the day before. Like this level of incompetence is insane. I think I'm getting better. And I I very sincerely hope is corrected by the time this country gets actually competent leadership again.

53Like if I was an Iranian agent instead of an American citizen, I could have brought a damn made deuce in here and no one would have noticed. Actually insane. See, I have to put like a little gay gay slang like twist to it. I I don't I don't know. Like that's the only way I guess I could do the California thing. Oh, and if anyone is curious is how doing something like this feels, it's awful. I want to throw up. I want to cry for all the things I wanted to do and never will. For all the people whose trust this betrays. I experienced rage thinking about everything this administration has done. Can't really recommend it. Stay in school, kids. This dude was off of his rocker, man. He ended it with stay in school. If you were curious on how this feels, it feels awful. Okay, I feel bad. I'm friendly. I'm nice. I didn't want to have to do this.

50Who else but me? You know, it shouldn't it shouldn't have to be me. I'm half black. I'm half white. Why should it be me out of anybody? It shouldn't be me. Nobody else is stepping up. It's got to be the friendly federal assassin. I think I think um yeah, I think he uh he made a name for himself. He he he he got what he wanted. People will know the friendly federal assassin. He didn't assassinate any feds, but he was friendly the entire time. And for that, we have to at least acknowledge it. We have to at least give credit where credit is due. He was friendly from the jump from the very beginning. Even the guy he shot, he shot him in the vest. Maybe it wasn't an accident. Maybe this was intentional. Maybe that was him making friends. And with that, I say thank you and good night.
